Pastor Steve Reynolds will be leading a Sunday evening class called, “Church Revitalization”. The class is based on the book, “Canoeing the Mountains” but is not required to attend the class. However, if you would like to purchase it, let Steve know. The cost is $19. The class will meet in Social Hall at 6:30 pm from March 10 to April 4.
Wednesday afternoon: 1:00 pm
Our pastoral intern, Alicia Dixon-Garrard, will be doing a Lenten series on Spiritual Formation. Many ask what is Spiritual Formation? It is the process by which we are shaped and formed by God into the image of Christ for the glory of God and for the sake of others (II Corinthians 3: 17-18). Spiritual formation, then, is a lifelong journey in which God uses the ordinary and the extraordinary to transform us. At its heart, spiritual formation seeks a deeper connection with the Trinity from whom we get our identity. The Spiritual Disciplines, like prayer and study, are some ways we connect with God. During this Lenten Bible study, we will unpack this definition of Spiritual Formation, and explore a few of the common spiritual disciplines.
ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND ANY OR ALL OF THESE STUDIES. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO BRING A FRIEND!
