The January Noisy Offering: RESCUE MISSION The Rescue Mission (originally based in Syracuse) began as an outreach service to homeless individuals on the street in 2006. It opened a supportive residence in the Binghamton area in November of 2010 with room for 32 men. Whitney Place provides not only a home but also three meals a day, clothing and transportation if needed, and vocational and educational resources as well as connections to employment. Their ultimate goal is for each of the men they serve to become independent and productive members of this community. Consider this important ministry. There will be an extra Noisy Offering
Many thanks for your generous giving throughout the year. As we enter a new decade, let us continue to be faithful to the call of Christ to “reach the lost and make disciples”.
