MARCH NOISY OFFERING:
Sunday, March 31, we will be collecting the Noisy Offering for
Traci’s Hope. Traci Shiner Gibson lost her young life to breast cancer in 2006. Before she died she began Traci’s Hope to help others with breast cancer. Now her parents, Gordie and Mary Shiner, her husband and sons, and her siblings along with many friends continue her dream of helping others.
100% of the money raised goes to help men and women who are going through breast cancer in Broome, Bradford, Susquehanna, and Tioga counties. Traci's Hope helps the families with things that insurance companies do not cover such as, gas cards, day care, house cleaning or mortgage payments. More than 700 people have been helped and over a half a million dollars has been donated so far.
Traci’s Hope has inspired many local and community organizations to participate in this wonderful ministry. Several of the organizations that have been involved are: Northeast Bradford High School boys’ JV and Varsity basketball “Pink-out”; the annual motorcycle ride; the Pink Panther 5K race (which is March 2nd); the Winter Blues Party and Jam; Athletes 2 Athletes (A2A); and Kans for a Kure from Taylor Garbage. The Barbeque Fundraiser is being held Saturday, October 5. Prayerfully consider helping!
