What type of worship service do you have?
We generally have a traditional worship service. We love hymns, gospel, and folk tunes. We have a more formal style of worship, somewhere between contemporary and high church.
How do I take Communion during Covid-19?
Many have asked how we plan to handle communion. First, we will continue to give you an opportunity to take communion online so please have something to eat and drink and do so with Pastor Marlene. If you will be attending church, we are aware we cannot pass the plates containing the elements. So, we have purchased self-contained single use communion wafer and juice in an all in one container. You will find it already in your pew put there by a gloved hand. We have noticed that some of the containers are more difficult to open than others. The clear plastic tab that needs to be pulled first to expose the wafer will be already raised slightly so you can clearly see it. Instructions and a demonstration how to use the single units will be given during communion. However, if you would rather bring your own elements such as a tiny piece of bread in a baggie and a juice container (must have a lid on it), please feel free to do so. We ask that when you are dismissed from your seat by the usher, you take your used container with you and discard it in the trashcan by the sanctuary door.
Do I have to dress up?
Come as you are, we do ask that you dress modestly and appropriately.
Do you have child care?
Yes, we have certified volunteers with strict policies to keep your children safe. We have age appropriate activities for your children and an unstaffed nursery for infants.

Do I have to get my life together before I attend a church service?
No, No, No! Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." - Matthew 11: 28-29.
In case you're wondering what a yoke is, it is a large beam put on animals to pull a heavy load. It's also a symbol for obedience and hard work. No matter what life may throw at you, you're stronger when others help you with encouragement, and help relieve you of some of your burdens.
